TBM

The TT1500H, TT2100H and TT2500H are closed-face slurry TBMs, which utilise a water / bentonite mix to transport the excavated material and balance the groundwater pressures.

All three machines include a slurry separation plant, jacking rig, steering system, automatic bentonite lubrication system and a fully integrated PLC control unit with a computer-based SCADA and MMI.

The slurry separation plant is a multi-stage separation unit comprising of holding tanks, screens, cyclones, clarifiers and centrifuges.

The TT1500H, TT2100H and TT2500H TBMs are controlled remotely by the operator from the surface, including the jacking rig, bentonite system, separation plant and guidance system.

A CCTV system enables the operator to monitor critical operations and co-ordinate the operations with key operatives via a wireless network communication system.

The range of pipe sizes that can be installed by the three machines range from 1500mm to 3000mm ID.

The TT1500H, TT2100H and TT2500H are suitable for ground conditions ranging from saturated running sands to silty clays and sandstones.
